Following elections in November, 2012, Paddy Tipping, our Police & Crime Commissioner took up office in early December 2012 and was re-elected in May, 2016.

Paddy would have been up for re-election in May, 2020 but in the light of the current coronavirus emergency the Government has decided to push that election to May, 2021.
