Sloswicke Trust: The aim of the Trust is to provide high quality housing for those people who have strong links with Retford, but have limited means. We hope that by providing good quality housing at an affordable cost we can enable the residents to lead fulfilling, independent lives for as long as possible.
The Sir Stuart & Lady Florence Goodwin Charity can provide financial assistance for a specific need such as disability/mobility aids, household goods/furniture, etc. to applicants aged 60 or over who live in the former Retford Rural District area (this includes Clarborough or Welham).
Applicants are required to complete an application form which will be issued on request. Supporting information will be required to show that the applicant meets the criteria along with two quotations showing the cost(s) of the item(s) desired.

The Nottingham General Dispensary is a medical Charity where grants are awarded for the purpose of assisting individuals resident in the City and County of Nottinghamshire who are sick, convalescent, disabled or infirm by providing or paying for items, services or facilities which are considered to alleviate the suffering and/or assist the recovery but are not readily available to them from other sources.
