Clarborough celebrated Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee with a picnic-on-the-field through the afternoon of Monday 4th June, 2012 followed by a disco in Clarborough Village Hall in the evening culminating in lighting of the Howbeck beacon at 22:00.
The day dawned with considerable trepidation all round given the dire state of the previous day’s weather (torrential rain all day). However, we were blessed - the sun came out, as did our community. Fun - and some daftness - was had by all - a picture tells a thousand words - say no more...
